Connors, John R. – of Sun City FL., previously of Someville, Nov.23rd. Beloved wife of Stacia (Casey) Connors. Father of Joseph Connors of Boston and Tacey Murphy and her husband Rob of North Reading. Cherished grandfather of Cole, Jack and Griffin Murphy. Son of the late Joseph and Mary (McKenna) Connors. Brother of Regina Bradbury and her husband Robert of Canton and the late Robert and Frederick Connors and Mary Mulligan. John is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

John was born and raised in Somerville and has been married for 54 years to his loving wife Stacia. He was an owner of his own real estate business in which he had a long and successful career. John loved to golf and was an avid Boston sports fan. John himself was inducted into the Matignon High School Hall of Fame for Basketball.

Above everything, John’s most cherished accomplishment was his family. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren more than anything and they are all so deeply sadden at his passing. All that knew John for his thoughtful and generous heart will miss him dearly.

John’s funeral will begin on Monday, Nov. 28th from the funeral home at 10am. His funeral Mass will be held in St. Theresa’s Church, 63 Winter St., (Rte. 62), North Reading at 11am. Interment will be private. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 2-5pm. Please omit flowers and make donations in John’s name to St Jude Hospital for Children, 501 St. Jude PL., Memphis, TN 38105-1905 or Pine Street Inn, 444 Harrison Avenue Boston, MA 02118.
