Dear John,
Our sincere condolences to you and your loving extended family.
As Maya Angelou said "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Art made people feel like they mattered and what they did in the world mattered. There is no greater gift! He shared that gift with so many in such a kind, fun-loving, courageous way! May he rest in peace. And may you be comforted with the knowing that he was greatly loved by so many and that his life mattered!

Art, truly was someone I admired. My daughter Lauren loved having him as an uncle. My wife & me were lucky enough to have him as a brother in law. When he came to hear Lauren sing, I could see a tear in his eye and how proud he was. Art had that rare ability of making you feel like, you know each other your whole life. He will be missed. I know he is in a better place with no pain, watching over John and everyone else.
