Rossetti, Erminia “Amy” -Of Rio Rancho, NM. Amy returned to the Lord at 97 years of age on Monday Oct. 4th, surrounded by her family. Born in Somerville, Massachusetts on October 1st, 1919 to parents Arturo and Maria Giannetti, she later married her husband Nicholas Rossetti on August 5th, 1944 in Somerville, Massachusetts. She joins her husband of 49 years in God’s Kingdom, as well as her parents Arturo and Maria Giannetti, sister Leonilde Macone, brother Francesco Giannetti, and daughter-in-law, Liisa Rossetti. She lives eternally in the memories of those she is survived by, her sister Nora Goodman, brother Arthur Giannetti, sons John and Thomas Rossetti, daughter Phyllis “Mickey” Rossetti, and her four beloved grandchildren, Mark, Matthew, Philip, and Jameson Rossetti. Her kind soul and gentle nature will be missed, but she will live forever in the hearts of her many friends and family. Amy adored her family, she was happiest spending time with them and cooking them a wonderful meal to share. She loved the theater and opera, and while living in Boston, she attended shows frequently. Funeral from the Cota Funeral Home, 335 Park St. (corner of Park St. and Rte. 28), North Reading, at Reading line, on Saturday, April 22nd at 9:30am. A Funeral Mass will be held in the Sacred Heart Church, 12 N. Square, Boston, MA at 11am. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the funeral home on Friday, April 21st from 3-7pm.
