Jennifer J. Aprile

Aprile, Jennifer J. “Jenn” of Wilmington, passed away at home, surrounded by her family on November 7, 2019. Jenn is the beloved daughter of Jean Aprile Ferrara and her husband Michael Ferrara and the late Thomas Aprile; granddaughter of Arnie and Betty Aprile of Wilmington and Marge Connell and her late husband John of Wilmington. Jenn is the loving sister of Thomas Aprile and his wife Jessica (Harrison) of NH, Jonathan Aprile and his wife Marianne (Vultaggio) of Methuen, Meghan (Ferrara) and her husband Josh Sousa of Chelmsford and Michael Patrick Ferrara and Sarah Johansson of Watertown. Jenn cherished being an aunt to eight nieces and nephews--Tayler, Emerson, Brody, Brielle, Brandon, Tyler, Nevaeh, and Joshua Jr. Jenn is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Jenn was born on December 12, 1973 and raised in Wilmington. She graduated from Wilmington High School in 1991 and remained close to her high school friends throughout the years. She went on to continue her education at Westfield State University and Northeastern University. Jenn also attended Catherine Hinds School of Aesthetics. Since 2004, Jenn was employed at Choate Hall & Stewart LLP as a Legal Assistant where she supported some very important people, including the Chairman of the firm and the Chief Justice Margaret Marshall. Throughout her lifetime, Jenn was an avid runner, participating in the annual Ragnar Reach the Beach relay in NH with her family, whom she loved unconditionally. Whether it was a family gathering, an event for her nieces and nephews, or a morning coffee run, she seized any opportunity to show her love for her family. She will be forever missed.

Funeral from the Cota Funeral Home, 335 Park St. (corner of Park St. and Rte. 28), NORTH READING, at Reading line, on Tuesday, Nov. 12th at 10:30am. Funeral Mass in St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 126 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington at 12noon. Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home Monday 3-8pm. Interment Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington
