I am so very sorry to learn of your momβs passing. I share fond memories when we were kids in Somerville. I always adored Joanie and thought she was a cool lady! She always made me feel welcomed in your home. I know my mother will be saddened but will remember the good times they shared back in the days!

For me, Joan was a wonderful confidante, a patient listener, a kind friend, a wise advisor, and a treasured "second mom" during those high school years that you and I shared. I was terribly sorry to hear of Joan's passing. She was a great lady and "work mom" to me and all the staff in the NEMC blood bank. My thoughts & prayers go out to the family.

Just want you to know how much we loved Joan she was like a second mother to us on Dover St. We were one family my Mom and Dad loved both your Mom and Dad we laughed a lot. Thinking of you all with love and sorry we so far away at this time.
