Halik, Joseph J. “Joe” Jr. –Of North Reading, Jan. 27th. Beloved husband of Linda (Kurgan). Father of Scott Halik and his wife Kelley of NH and Jennifer Reese and her husband Jeremy of Boxford. Grandfather of Trevor and Naomi. Funeral Service in the Funeral Home on Saturday, Feb. 3rd at 3pm. Relatives and friends may visit at the Funeral Home Saturday 1-3pm. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joe’s name to the Joslin Diabetes Ctr. Inc., 1 Joslin Pl., Boston, MA 02215 or North East Arc, Attention Autism Support Center, 6 South Side Rd., Danvers, MA 01923. Joe graduated from Columbia College and attended Georgetown Medical School. He enjoyed spending as much time as possible at his home in Crystal River, FL. Joe enjoyed the outdoors, loved spending time at the ocean watching the manatees, dolphins and birds of all shapes and sizes.
