Todd recently popped up on my LinkedIn feed somehow. I knew him a short time but, I remember talking movies with him...miss those chats. He was a very kind person.

Keri, Cole, Mr & Mrs Verdonck, Scott and other family,
I was saddened to hear of Todd's passing and wanted to send my condolences. Todd was a great person, teammate and competitor. As we spent many springs and summers playing ball together as we grew up he always pushed people to do their best and break them out of their shell...he did this in so many different ways, somehow he always managed to throw in a joke or a smile to know there were no hard feelings.
I hope that over time you all can recover from this tragedy and remember all the good times and feelings that he provided.
Sincerely,
Rob Spear

I met Todd at a family gathering years ago. He was a great guy; real easy to get along with. It was always easy for Todd to make a joke or share a laugh. I know that he was a regular at Giggles. When my wife and I were dating, we used to go there frequently.
To Todd's family: I am sorry for your loss. He was a great guy and he will be missed.

We are saddened by the loss of your dear love one. The pain that death of a loved one brings can sometimes overwhelm us. Our loving God Jehovah knows how we feel and he provides comfort from his word the Bible. Psalm 34:18 says: Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit. Comfort also can be found in the words at Revelation 21:4; And he (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. May these scriptures bring comfort and calmness of heart to you at this time. Please accept our deepest sympathy.

Dear Verdonck Family, There is no pain more far reaching and deeper than losing a loved one. Further, there are no words adequate to express the sorrow we all feel over his loss. He was an inspiration to everyone around him. We were the blessed ones to have been graced by Todd's huge personality. It is truly the mark of wonderful parents. Every bit of our hearts go out to you, Karri, Cole, Bob, Paula, Scott and the entire Verdonck family. With our heartfelt condolences, Flo and Dave Rossi & Family

Dear Paula & Bob,
They define a “condolence” as an expression of sympathy to someone who is grieving. What they do not tell you is that is nearly impossible to say anything that halts the wave of loss and sadness that follows the loss of a loved one. When the waves hit, all we can really do as a friend is make sure you never get washed out to sea. You are surrounded by friends and family and they will be your anchor. They will want to be there for you. Love, Meg
