Andrew Warner, Sr. Obituary

Andrew R. Warner, Sr. 59, devoted husband of 35 years of Cheryl (Carr) Warner, passed away on Friday, July 2nd, 2021.  Born in Charlestown, he is the loving son of the late Laura (Pratt) Warner Rumasuglia and her late husband Pete Rumasuglia.  Andy also leaves his second mother Mitz Moran.

Andrew, affectionately known as “Mr. Grumpy” grew up in Charlestown and Everett and was a graduate of Medford Vocational High School.  He was a veteran, having served in the Army and National Guard.  Andy married the love of his life Cheryl and they settled to begin their family in Lowell. For many years, Andy worked for Valentine and Kebartas. 

Andy was an avid collector of Invicta Watches, belonging to the group Big Guy Watches & The Ladies Too!  He belonged to the group the Northeaster Ford Explorers; where he would go mudding and off-roading. 

Family was Andy’s greatest joy.  He and Cheryl made sure to travel to places like Jamaica, Mexico, Disney, Italy and Paris.  The dedication as husband and wife was made by renewing wedding vows in all the special places they were able to go. 

Andy’s kindness and unconditional love he showed to his family and friends will be remembered, along with the many lives he touched.

In addition to being the devoted husband of Cheryl, he is the Loving father of A.J. Warner and his wife Aimee of Andover and Jeff Blute and his partner Elizabeth Wadman of Canton.  Beloved brother of Betty Warner, Fran Murphy and her late husband Jake, Sheila McCullock and her husband Shawn the late Alan Warner, all of Everett. Cherished Uncle of Peter, Alan and C.C. Murphy, Kaitlyn and Kelsie McCullock, Dale Hadley, Bernie Hadley and his wife Courtney, Danielle Hadley and her fiance’ Curtis Jackson, Gianna Gonya, Curtis and Amelia Jackson, Scarlett, Noah, Jordan, Veronica, Marilyn and Lucas Hadley and Walter, Hazel, Sara , Shane, Lori and Eric Eddy.  Loving brother-in-law of Theresa Hadley and Bob Skane, John Gonya, Jr., Trish & Keith Burgess, and the late Kathleen Carr.  Son-in-law of the late John Gonya, Sr. and his wife Marie and loving grandfather of Sadie Blute.  Andy also leaves Cooper Dooper the grand pup. 

Family and friends are cordially invited to visiting hours at Cota Funeral Home, 335 Park Street, North Reading on Monday, July 12, 2021 from 4 to 7pm.  A Funeral Service will immediately follow the visitation at 7pm.
