David W. Buchta, of Methuen, MA passed away suddenly on December 1st, 2021. David grew up in Eastern Pennsylvania, graduated from Duquesne University, and then settled in the Pittsburgh area. He relocated to the Boston area in 2008 where he worked for Phillips. David became the Director of New Business Development for Regional Home Care in 2018. He loved job, where he worked, and everyone he worked with.
David was an avid runner and ran marathons, half marathons, and 5ks – he would say it was for the medal, not the distance. He loved travel – especially with his wife – and they shared many exciting trips together. David will be remembered as a diehard sports fan – especially any Philadelphia team or the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He had two goals in life - to see the Eagles with the Superbowl and the Phillies with the Pennant – he got to see them both.
David was the beloved husband of Lisa (Czemerda) Buchta and devoted Padre to Courtney and Kirsten Buchta and Stepfather to Erin McGinnis (Brandon DonGilli).
He was the son of the late William and Ellen (Bachman) Buchta. He is survived by his brother Mark (Cassey) Buchta and sister Dawn Carpenter (Andy Ford), grandchildren Landen, Arya and Jaxon DonGilli, and nieces Ellie and Massey Buchta. David is also survived by many loving in-laws, friends and his precious dog Bella.
David will be remembered by those who knew him for his smile and sense of humor.
