Dennis Caprigno Obituary

Caprigno, Dennis M. Sr. –Of Tewksbury, June 15th. Beloved husband of 51 years to Roberta (Scimone). Father of Dennis Jr and his wife Amanda of Dracut, David and his fiancée Tressa Plugis of Mansfield and Valerie Caprigno of Wakefield.    Brother of Donald Caprigno of Somerville, Marie FitzGerald of NY,  Anthony and his wife Grace of Quincy, Linda Palmisano of Reading,  John and his wife Terrie of Norwood,  Michael of Malden and the late Janice Pino. Proud “Pooh-Pooh” of Clareese and Christopher. Dennis was the son of the late Domenic and Elisa (Maltacea).

Dennis was born and raised in Somerville and graduated from The Somerville Trade High School. Dennis worked as a machinist in General Electrics “The Factory of the Future” in Lynn, MA.

He was a member of the Tewksbury Elks, and was a nationally ranked cribbage player with the American Cribbage Congress. Dennis enjoyed spending time with his brother Donald and friends while attending regular ACC games and tournaments locally and around the country.

He was the proud owner of a fully restored 1955 Mercury Montclair convertible and a 1965 Chevy S10 pickup truck. He enjoyed showing his cars at the shows around the region and was an active lifelong member of the Dracut Roadrunners Car Club where he and Roberta made dear friends.

Dennis enjoyed all things food - eating, cooking and feeding anyone he could cajole into eating his latest creation.
