Edward V. Baker, 56, beloved husband of Kim (Fee) Baker, passed away on Monday, March 20th, at his home. Born and raised in Malden, Eddie and Kim devotedly raised their children Payton, Nolan, and Ava Baker in North Reading.
Eddie, a graduate of Malden High School, was an electrician by trade. He was proud of his membership in Local 103, his work at Dagle Electrical and Lynnwell Associates, and his time as foreman in the Boston Schools.
Eddie enjoyed summers with family and friends on Lake Winnipesaukee. He had a larger-than-life personality and never let the truth get in the way of a good story. Eddie never missed time to spend with his children enjoying hockey games, sports, and music. His greatest joys came from his family and his network of lifelong friends.
Eddie was the loving brother of James Baker of North Reading, who is married to Suzanne Baker; and Robert Baker of Hampton, NH, whose companion is Michelle Witham. He was the cherished uncle of Kyle, Zack and Luke Baker and Sean Baker, and the son of the late Robert “Pistol” and Margaret (Donovan) Baker and grandson of the much-loved Victoria “Babci” Donovan. He was the son-in-law of Carol Fee and the late Kevin Fee of North Reading, and brother-in-law of Chris Fee of Charleston, South Carolina. Eddie also leaves his devoted family dog Wilson.
Family and friends are cordially invited to visiting hours at the Cota Funeral Home, 335 Park St., North Reading (Corner of Park St. and Rte. 28 at the Reading Line) on Friday, March 24th, from 4 to 8p.m.
