Obituary

Kenneth Paul DiCicco, of Peabody and formerly of Reading, passed away on August 1, at the age of 80.  Born in Stoneham, he is the son of the late Domenic DiCicco and Priscilla (Nardone).

Kenneth grew up in Reading and was a graduate of Reading Memorial High School. He entered the Navy after graduation and was stationed on the USS Kitty Hawk. A plumber by trade, he was a proud and longstanding member of the Local 12, enjoyed deep sea fishing, the outdoors and loved his family. “Big DiCicco” had a big personality, a warm heart, the best smile and was loved by all who knew him.

Kenneth was deeply loved by his daughter Tracey DiCicco of Arizona, his son Kenneth DiCicco, Jr. of Arizona, his daughter Danene DiCicco of Wakefield, Ma and Jeff Reed of Swampscott, Ma. He was cherished Papa Nonni to Sophia, Isabella, Dominic, Diana and Avalynn and Papa Ken to Natalie and Nathan. Beloved brother of Donna Maria Brickey (DiCicco) and the late John DiCicco. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Kenneth’s family in the Cota Funeral Home, 335 Park St. (corner of Park St. and Rte. 28), North Reading, at Reading line on Wednesday, Aug. 9th from 5-7pm. Interment will be privately held. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Kenneth’s name to Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452.
