Maria (D'Annolfo) Palermo

Palermo, Maria (D’Annolfo) 91 -Of Stoneham passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Saturday, April 28th. Maria was born and raised in East Boston and lived there until she moved with her husband and children to Stoneham in 1972. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Palermo Sr. who passed away in 2001. Maria was the cherished daughter of the late Carlo ad Teresa (Raduazzo) D’Annolfo of East Boston. Devoted mother of Thomas Palermo, Jr. and his wife Joe-Ann of Malden, the late John Palermo, Linda Grigas and her husband Paul of Hudson NH, Carol DiLorenzo of Stoneham and Salvatore Palermo of Stoneham. The loving grandmother to Nicole DiLorenzo and John DiLorenzo of East Boston, Michael Grigas and his wife Christina of Stoneham, Vanessa Grigas of Hudson and Gina Palermo of Wakefield. Dear sister of Gloria Crane of Andover and Theresa D’Annolfo of East Boston. Preceded in death by her siblings Francis, Angela (Jeanette) and Joseph D’Annolfo of East Boston. Maria is also survived by many nieces and nephews and countless friends. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Maria’s life at the Funeral Home on Thursday, May 3rd from 4-8pm. Funeral from the Funeral Home on Friday, May 4th at 8:45am. Funeral Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10am. Interment in Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
