Mary L. (Harris) Capobianco

Mary L. (Harris) Capobianco, the beloved wife of Erasmo “Ray” Capobianco, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgewater, MA, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and the late Winifred (Fahey) Harris.

Mary grew up in Somerville and was a graduate of North Cambridge Catholic High School. She worked at Porter Chevrolet in Cambridge where she met the love of her life, Ray, and they married on August 22, 1964. Mary and Ray moved to Wakefield where they raised their family. In her later years, Mary and Ray went to many Corvette Shows and were members of the North Shore Corvette Club. Mary also enjoyed time at their summer home in Wareham, and her greatest joy came from being with her adoring family. Many family and friends will deeply miss her.

Devoted mother of Kimberly Hagan and her husband Joseph of Reading, MA, Tracy Pallotta and her husband Tony of Aurora, CO, Jeffrey Capobianco and his wife Samantha of Ipswich, MA, and Marc Capobianco and his wife Keri of North Reading, MA. Cherished grandmother of Sean, Taidghe, Daniel and Julia Hagan, Allie and Ashlyn Pallotta, Eva, Elia, and Camilla Capobianco, and Samuel, Charles and Theodore Capobianco. Loving sister of Bernadette Pepoli, Sheila Martorella, Helen Harris, the late Paul Harris, and the late Robert Harris. She is also the aunt to many loving nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held at the Cota Funeral Home, 335 Park St., North Reading (Located at the corner of Park St. and Rt. 28 at the Reading Line) on Thursday, August 18, 2022, from 4 to 7 pm.

Funeral from the Cota Funeral Home, on Friday, August 19, 2022, at 9 am, followed by a funeral Mass celebrating Mary’s Life at St. Joseph’s Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield, at 10 am.

Interment to follow in Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
