Richard DiGiantommaso Obituary

Richard J. DiGiantommaso of North Reading (formerly of Everett) passed away peacefully & surrounded by his loved ones on March 26, 2024. Richie courageously battled Parkinson’s disease for many years and sadly it took his life at the age of 71 years old.

Richie was the beloved husband of Joyce DiGiantommaso of North Reading and stepfather to Jamie Ryan and Jessica Ryan of Somerville.

He was the beloved father of Paul DiGiantommaso and his wife Katty, of Londonderry NH; and the late Michael DiGiantommaso of North Reading.

He was the dear brother to Dominic DiGiantommaso and his wife Jean of Plymouth; and Deborah Marquis (DiGiantommaso) and husband Jeff of Manchester.

Richie was the cherished grandfather (Papa) of four grandchildren: Michael DiGiantommaso, Marco DiGiantommaso, Mia DiGiantommaso and William Neary. He was an adoring Uncle of many nephews and nieces.

Richie was a member of Electrical Workers Local 103 IBEW for 32 years. Richie had a passion for Bowling at the Malden lanes and always wanted that perfect 300 game. He came pretty close with a 298. He also loved to play corn hole challenging everyone that came to the house, pulling out the boards every chance he got. He had a deep passion for cooking and spending time with his family and friends. He was a kind and gentle soul who touched the lives of so many and will be truly missed.
