Ronald R. "Ronnie" Tauro

Tauro, Ronald R. “Ronnie” - of East Cambridge, Thursday, April 30th at the age of 65. Loving husband of Catherine Tauro and father of Michael and Pat Tauro. Devoted son of the late Patrick Tauro and Emily Tauro. Proud brother of Edward Tauro and his wife Rita, Walter Tauro and his wife Lisa, William Tauro and his wife Marisa and David Tauro and his wife Maria. Dear nephew of Debora Tauro and the late Benito Tauro of East Boston. Ronnie is survived by his 11 cherished nieces and nephews, many great-nieces and great-nephews, and countless cousins, relatives, friends, and godchildren.

Ronnie was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on August 25, 1954. He was a lifetime resident of East Cambridge, where he attended the Putnam School and Cambridge High and Latin School, going on to manage Pat’s Auto Body and Tauro Realty in Somerville, Massachusetts with his late father Pat and his four brothers. Anyone that had the pleasure of meeting and knowing Ronnie knew how special he truly was. He touched so many lives and had a way of making everyone he came in contact with feel better just by smiling and laughing with them. Rest easy Ronnie, we will miss you dearly.  

Due to the current restriction in place, all immediate services for Ronnie and his family are being held privately. You may access Ronnie's visitation and Catholic blessing on Tuesday, May 5th online  at https://www.facebook.com/cotafuneralhome/  from 11am-12pm. A memorial service will be planned later when restrictions allow for family and friends to gather and pay tribute to this amazing family man. The family wishes to extend all their love, thanks and gratitude to everyone dear to Ronnie and the Tauro family at this most difficult time.
