Dear Angel, Anthony, and Giselle my deepest sympathies for your loss. I'll always have fond memories of Tony his greetings and his salad of tomatoes at the farm. Truly a wonderful man

My deepest sympathy to the family of Tony and his sisters. My memories of Tony go back to the horse and wagon days w/his father and Gus going around to the different homes and selling vegetables - and after the horse left, we were strictly bidden to pick up the remains to put in my uncle's garden. Then they graduated to the truck and even his sisters were helping out and it was always great to see them. They weighed the veggies on a scale that they had balancing on the back of the truck. Tony was always the soft-spoken one. what great memories - what a great family all helping out. there's nothing in this day and age to compare w/that. And then came WWII and they were all called to service. That was a very sad time because my 3 brothers also were called to service and they were sent to all the parts of the world - some pretty uninhabited. What a glorious day when WWII finally came to an end and we shouted and jumped for joy in the streets and all the church bells rang. it brings tears to my eyes even now after so many years passed.
My Uncle Pat's store on Somerville Ave was a gathering place for al Italians w/the Circolo on Merriam St. (?) I don't remember that your grandfather went there - his only recreation was the work edict. I would like all Tony's children and grandchildren to remember all the work that went into pullng this great family together - I doubt there is another family like this, so remember.
Tony, rest in peace - you have many friends.
