Like Bobby Murphy, I also worked with Bill at I. D. Machine in Malden. The owners of the business never upgraded to modern machine shop technology. Bill Chapman, as the highly skilled manager, took the capabilities of the shop far beyond what one would have expected possible. He was a blessed man. Bobby, it would be nice to hear from you.

Our very sincere condolences. I had the great privilege of watching many ice hockey games with Mr. Bill Chapman. Watching his son Michael coaching the hockey team and seeing his grandchildren playing in the games and scoring goals too; was so very exciting for Mr. Chapman. I always looked forward to watching the games with Mr. Chapman. We really had great conversations during the games. May the Good Lord bless his wonderful family at this difficult time. You are in our prayers. Our sincere sympathy.

It is with our deepest sympathies that I write this message. For I wish that all of us could have met before this day. We are thinking of all the family near and far, our condolences. There is beauty in everything in this world, life is short but sweet, and death is eternal and everlasting. He is in a better place watching over all of us.

Nancy, Patti, Michael, Chris, Bobby & families - we are so sad to learn of Uncle Bill's passing. He was an amazing man--plain and simple. Just amazing. He left such a wonderful and lasting impression on everyone he met and taught us all to be better people each day that we spend on this earth. He loved hard and true--and was so so proud of all of his children and grandchildren. He was a great friend to SO many--had the best sense of humor and gave the tightest hugs. I will forever miss him and I know I was blessed to have him as not only an uncle, but my Godfather as well. He was the best--and now, he'll make the best angel up in heaven. I love you guys so much and we're here for you. xoxo
