Ruscak, Thomas Gary at age 64 –of Lehigh Acres, FL and Methuen, MA . Thomas passed away peacefully Monday, July 11th after suffering from a long-term illness. His loving girlfriend, family and friends were at his side.

Tom was born in Bridgeport, CT the son of the (late) Joseph Ruscak and Helen (Thompson) Ruscak. His family moved to North Reading, MA where he developed a strong bond with lifelong friends. He attended North Reading Schools and later earned a bachelor’s degree from U-Mass Lowell in Environmental Science. Most of his adult life, Tom lived in Methuen, MA with his former wife, Sandra (Michaud) Ruscak and his son Gregory. He loved and valued his relationship with his son taking great pride in all of his accomplishments. Tom’s personal interests were varied from photography, scuba diving, sailing, skiing, gardening and most notably, working on his classic cars.As a free-thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit, Tom owned and operated several small businesses in the Merrimack Valley prior to starting Thomas and Company Home Inspections in 1999 which he operated for over 15 years.

Tom is survived by his son, Gregory Ruscak of Methuen, MA; fiancé, Linda Hicks of Lehigh Acres, FL.; mother, Helen P. (Thompson) Ruscak of North Reading, MA; sister, Linda Jo Sheahan and her husband Peter of Groton, MA; brothers David Ruscak and his wife Nicole of Chebeague Island, ME and Stephen Ruscak and his wife Susan of Littleton, MA as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday, July 20th in the Funeral Home from 4:00 pm through 7:00 pm.
